Another interesting find is a fully preserved key made of forged iron. It is in fact a door key with an oval bow and a solid stem. The complicated key bit features a letter shape. This type of key with solid stem was used in locks that could be opened from both sides. The key is 70 mm long, the bow is 37 mm wide, the bit is 20 mm wide and the stem has a diameter of 7 mm. Such keys can be dated to the 16th to 17th century.
