Geuzestekerij Parrain

In 2023, on a crisp winter day, Julie and Thomas Debelder stand in the cellar where their godfathers made their daily rounds, among the barrels, past the bottle-filled vaults. Gaston, and later Armand Debelder, would sometimes venture deep into the cellars beneath the restaurant between shifts to watch over the "bisjkes" living in the oak barrels—the yeasts that give all our beers their typical flavor.

70 years after Gaston first dove into the cellar, his godson Thomas serves an old gueuze just as we have been doing for three generations.

Visits

Group visits can be organized for groups of 10 or more people. Reservations must be made in advance via restaurant 3 Fonteinen.
