The Rondenbos estate is a beautiful small park surrounding Bosquet Castle, which houses the Beersel town hall. Bosquet Castle, a fine example of eclectic architecture, has a turbulent history. The original building and park were constructed in 1903 by Mr. Bosquet, an Antwerp timber merchant. In the 1990s, both the small castle and the park were extensively renovated to become the current town hall. Later, after the First World War, the coachman's lodge at the front of the estate was also added.
